RFP for Technical Assistance for NCRP CAL FIRE Forest Health Project Development

The North Coast Resource Partnership (NCRP) is pleased to offer a Request for Proposals for Technical Assistance  for the NCRP CAL FIRE Forest Health Pilot Implementation Project Grant Program. The solicitation for implementation projects is expected to roll-out in April 2024.

Proposals will be accepted & awarded on a rolling basis through June 1, 2024.

Direct technical assistance for project development, prioritizing projects that benefit Tribes and economically disadvantaged communities, will be made available via this request for proposals solicitation. The Technical Assistance will support grant applications for the NCRP CAL FIRE Forest Health Pilot grant program and will target the development of large, multi-benefit forest resiliency projects in priority project areas identified by the North Coast Forest Health screening assessment in the following NCRP CAL FIRE Forest Health Pilot Regional Assessment Review Story Map. All projects must include Activities supported by the Forest Health Program:

  • Forest Fuels Reduction
  • Prescribed Fire
  • Cultural Fire
  • Pest Management
  • Reforestation
  • Biomass Utilization
