Since 2004, the North Coast Resource Partnership has invested over $67 million of local, state and federal funding in a variety of projects that benefit the communities and landscapes of the North Coast region and the rest of California. This investment has been leveraged with an additional match of over $110 million, bringing the total investment to $177 million. Projects are selected for their effectiveness in achieving measurable, long term positive outcomes for communities and watersheds, and are evaluated based on their cost/benefit ratio. The NCRP is committed to ongoing, rigorous evaluation of funded projects, and to documenting their environmental, economic and community health benefits. Following are descriptions of the projects that have been funded to date by the NCRP.
