NCRP Listening and Learning Session: Wildfire Resilience in the North Coast – June 13, 2024

The Wildfire Resilience Listening and Learning Session was held on June 13 of 2024 in Eureka. The themes discussed during the session included strategic and collaborative approaches required for effective wildfire planning, management, and community resilience, Tribal leadership and stewardship, the application of traditional knowledge, and the importance of community involvement.

Thank you to all that attended! Interest and support has been expressed for a future session to be held in Siskiyou County.

NCRP Workshop & Input Session: Prioritizing Local, State and Federal Investments in Forest & Community Resilience – July 15, 2021

NCRP Leaders, Staff and Partners shared information on a proposed framework for prioritizing funding investments that will be refined based on your input. Stakeholders provided input on the highest priority investments in fuel load reduction, forest health, community health and safety, climate action and extreme event resiliency.
